Details About Charters & Rates

Boat Maximums: Boat maximum is 4 anglers, parties of less than 4 may be mixed with others if boat is not full. During July we can accommodate up to 5 anglers as we are not fishing out of the boat and only use it for transportation to and from the fishing site.

For groups of less than 4 anglers that aren’t looking to mix with other groups and want a more private experience can book a private charter.

How to Reserve a Trip: A 50% deposit is required to confirm your reservations. A local sales tax of 6% will be added to all fishing trips. Trips can be cancelled or rescheduled 60 days prior to the scheduled date of trip for refund of deposit. All other deposits are non-refundable. Final payment is due 60 days prior to the scheduled trip date.

Any trips booked within 60 days of the trip must be paid in full to reserve the trip.

Kenai Fishing Company accepts cash, check, and credit card as payment. A 3% charge will be added to all credit card transactions.

We offer a 5% discount to active military, veterans, first responders and law enforcement. We want to thank you for your service.

Greg is a great guy to fish with. He is entertaining, and absolutely puts you on fish. The 4 of us landed 48 fish in 4 hours of fishing. Greg even took us upstream to the lake where we had moose burgers for a lunch. Great time! Would highly recommend using him for your fishing trip!

Unforgettable September Fishing with Kenai Fishing Company!

I had the pleasure of fishing with Kenai Fishing Company this past September, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. From start to finish, everything was top-notch, and a huge shoutout goes to Greg Springer—he’s hands down one of the best guides I’ve ever had.

Greg’s knowledge of the river, the fish, and the best techniques was incredible. He had us on the fish right away and made sure we were set up for success the entire trip. Whether it was navigating the river, adjusting to the changing conditions, or sharing tips, his expertise was evident. Plus, his easygoing and fun attitude made the whole day that much better.

The Kenai in September is absolutely stunning, and we had an amazing time chasing trout and salmon. The gear was high-quality, the boat was well-maintained, and everything was well-organized—exactly what you hope for in a guided trip. If you’re looking for a top-tier fishing experience, Kenai Fishing Company and Greg Springer should be your go-to. I’ll definitely be booking again next season!

Greg is the best guide I have ever went with.

There is no sitting around and waiting for a fish to come to you, you’re going to go get it.

We spinner fished, used Jigs, went trout fishing and got some coho all while the river was “slow”. We probably each caught 20+ fish.

He has the knowledge and the patience to make it a good time. I learned a ton from him. He is worth every dollar and then some.

First time fishing the Kenai with Captain Greg and had a wonderful day on the water. He is very personable with a great sense of humor and got us on the fish right away. We caught quite a few pink salmon before tagging out with a coho for the day. Will certainly be back.

We booked three days with Greg (owner) on the Kenai River chasing after salmon, and wow, did he deliver! Not only does Greg know every secret nook of the river, but he's also part comedian—keeping us laughing the entire time. We were a mixed bag of anglers, from a spry 13-year-old to a sprightly 77-year-old, and Greg tailored the trip to be a perfect fit for everyone. He turned us from a bunch of hopefuls into a salmon-catching dream team! A pro tip: Make sure to schedule a pre-trip Zoom call with Greg. If you communicate your wishes to him, he’ll craft a tailor-made adventure that feels like you’ve hit the jackpot.

Greg was awesome! We had an awesome experience and by following his expert advice, we were very successful catching 20 salmon before 0900. Greg was super friendly and knowledgeable of the area and made sure we were on the fish. He’s not someone who just takes your money and doesn’t care. He has a sportsman’s integrity. Used Greg at Kenai Fishing Company mid-August for a recent outing for a change in the week of flossing Sockeyes. Greg is a very knowledgeable guide, and works hard to get you on fish. We were targeting Cohos and also trying some fly fishing. We were a little early in the Coho run, but Greg worked hard, and found some. We changed techniques, locations and gear, and even though we had people with varied skill levels, everybody got on fish. The boat is roomy, clean and comfortable, the stress level is low, and the enjoyment level high. I would give Greg and company my highest recommendation, and plan on booking with him when we go back next year. Book him and go get some!!
